Check your active workspace and rename it
Keep company identity separate from personal profile settings.
Your account can belong to more than one organization. The selected workspace determines which company’s projects, members, and settings you are working with.
Confirm the company before acting
Read the organization name in the workspace selector. If you belong to several, choose the intended organization before opening Team, creating a Space, or managing a provider connection. Check the selected company again after following an invitation or a link to work.
Changing the active organization does not copy projects or transfer company data. If the intended organization is missing, confirm that you accepted its invitation with this account.
Rename the selected workspace
Only the workspace Owner can change its name through the reviewed Workspace settings. Admin access alone is not sufficient for this control.
- Select the intended organization.
- Open Profile → Workspace at
/profile. - Check the Workspace identity and your role.
- Edit Workspace name. Use a nonempty name of up to 100 characters.
- Choose Save changes and wait for Workspace renamed.
- Check the new name in the workspace identity and selector.
Use Reset to discard an unsaved name edit. Other roles see a read-only state and should ask an Owner to make the change.
Personal and company settings are different
Personal Account in Spaces includes Personal, Preferences, Notifications, and Security. It does not include the organization’s Workspace tab. Your display name and role title describe your profile; they do not rename the company or change your organization role.
A workspace rename changes the company label, not its membership or permission structure. Use Team for people and access, Spaces for departments and projects, and Billing & Usage for subscription information.
