Connect a machine with StackWatch
Pair an approved machine and check its service-health reporting.
StackWatch reports the health of selected background services from a machine to Node Cluster. It is intended for targeted service monitoring, not an exhaustive inventory of every application.
Connect the machine
- Open the StackWatch integration and the pairing-code flow.
- Select the machine’s platform: macOS, Linux, or Windows.
- Generate the pairing details and copy the installation command produced by the product.
- Run that command on the approved machine with the appropriate local authority.
- Check the device’s connection and service state in Node Cluster.
An online device can still show no useful services if its watch scope is empty. Review policy or explicit watch rules before treating this as an installation failure.
Use the generated command rather than copying a fixed pairing code from documentation. Pairing details and provider addresses are environment-specific. Advanced installation, diagnostics, and removal guidance is in the agent reference.
