Understand Spaces, folders, projects, and views
Understand how Spaces, folders, projects and views organize work in Node Cluster, and find the right place for tasks, plans and supporting material.
Your organization is the company workspace. A Space groups an area of company work, such as a department. Folders optionally organize projects within a Space. A project holds the work and its views.
Inside a project, use the available views to work with tasks, a canvas, files, notes, or a dashboard. A view is a way to work with project content; it is not a separate company workspace.
Navigate the structure
- Expand a Space in the sidebar.
- Expand a folder if your company uses folders.
- Open a project, then choose its view.
- Use Shared with me to find work explicitly shared with you.
Project All Tasks aggregates tasks across the project’s canvases and incoming pinned tasks. A Board can show those tasks in columns. Switching between these views does not create a second task.
An organization role, a project access level, and permission to create projects are different controls. Being able to read a Space does not automatically mean you can create or move projects there.
