Change your password

Update a known password from your account’s Security settings.

Use this flow when you can sign in and know your current Node Cluster password. If you have forgotten it, use Reset a forgotten password instead.

Change the password

  1. In Spaces, open Personal Account → Security. You can also use Profile → Security.
  2. Under Password, choose Change password.
  3. Enter your Current password.
  4. Enter a New password and repeat it in Confirm new password.
  5. Follow the strength meter’s feedback. The form requires at least eight characters and an acceptable strength score; matching confirmation is also required.
  6. Choose Update password and wait for Password updated before leaving.

The form checks the current password before saving the new one. If it says the current password is incorrect, check what you entered or use password recovery. Closing the dialog without a successful update does not change your password.

If you sign in through Google or Apple

This form requires a Node Cluster current password. It is not a way to change the password for your Google or Apple account. If you have only used provider sign-in and do not know a Node Cluster password, continue using that sign-in method and ask support which password-setup or recovery path is supported for your account.

Review other sessions separately

Changing your password and choosing Sign out other sessions are separate controls. If you also need to end other sessions, use that action in Security and check its result. Do not assume the password-change confirmation proves that every other open session has already ended.

Your password belongs to your account. Changing it does not change organization membership, project access, or a company integration’s credentials.
