Use Overview to plan the day and review the team

Use Mine and Team scopes in Node Cluster Overview to review work across included projects and turn progress signals into task updates.

Overview helps you decide what needs attention. Begin by checking which work the overview covers: a project, a Space, or a saved selection of projects. Counts from different scopes are not interchangeable.

Review your own work

  1. Open the relevant Overview.
  2. Select Mine to focus on work assigned to you.
  3. Review overdue work, work due today, active work, and blockers in the sections available to you.
  4. Open the underlying task before changing a date, status, or owner.
  5. Add a progress note when another person needs to understand your next step.

An empty Mine view can mean that tasks exist but are not assigned to you. Switch to Team—or All when that label is shown—to inspect other accessible work and unassigned tasks.

Review work with your team

Choose Team and agree on the scope before discussing totals. Use assignee, project, priority, status, or due-date filters where they are available. Review blocked work first, then overdue commitments, then what the team is starting next.

For each blocker, record a concrete next action: the missing decision, who will seek it, and when you will check again. For unassigned work, decide whether it needs an owner, should remain in the backlog, or should be removed from the current plan.

Understand the summaries

Overview reflects recorded task data and the work you can access. A low count does not prove that a department has little work; the scope, audience, filters, assignment, and permissions all affect what you see.

Work-in-progress capacity is a planning aid. Team view uses each person’s own cap or the suggested fallback. People set their own cap in their personal view. A cap does not estimate hours, stop task creation, or automatically redistribute work.

Historical trend sections use a historical window and do not necessarily follow the same window-shaped filters as the current task list. Read the displayed period before comparing a trend with today’s count.

Keep a useful starting view

Adjust the view to the review you repeat, then use Save default if you want that supported configuration as your starting point. Treat it as a view preference, not a company-wide access or workflow policy. If the numbers are unexpected later, recheck the retained filters and audience.

Finish with actions

A useful review ends with updated tasks, clear ownership, and a shared understanding of blockers. If you need to compare several selected projects, create a custom overview; if you need to work through individual rows, return to All Tasks.
