Connect OpenAI for cost and usage reporting

Use the cost-reporting connection separately from the assistant key.

Choose OpenAI in Integrations for the cost and usage reporting setup. Follow the dialog for the administrative credential it requests, test the connection, and save the intended account configuration.

This connection is separate from OpenAI Assistant Key. A project key used for assistant chat is not interchangeable with the administrative credential used by the cost-reporting setup.

After connecting, review the AI-provider reporting surface and its available projects, time range, and usage data. A successful connection test does not mean historical usage has already synchronized.

If reports are empty, check credential type, organization or project scope, the selected period, and sync state before concluding there was no usage. Do not assume a displayed budget automatically blocks provider spending.
