Configure the OpenAI Assistant Key

Provide the project API key used by in-app assistant chat.

1. Open Integrations and choose OpenAI Assistant Key.
2. In the Connect OpenAI Project Key dialog, enter the project API key and an optional display name.
3. Select Test Connection.
4. When validation succeeds, select Save & Connect.

The project API key is used by the in-app assistant for chat completions. It is separate from the Admin key used for cost tracking. Availability is also subject to the organization’s enabled capabilities and key limits.

If the assistant is unavailable, check the connection, enabled AI capability, and any displayed plan limit. Do not replace a cost-reporting credential with an assistant key or assume adding the key gives the assistant access to all company data.
