Run and inspect technical workflows
Use technical execution controls with explicit input and output checks.
Technical workflow execution is separate from changing a task’s status. Use the Automation and execution surfaces only when your organization has enabled them and your account has the required access.
Before running a workflow, identify its input, external connections, intended side effects, and expected result. Inspect the relevant node or workflow controls, run the smallest appropriate scope, and review the returned output or error.
For map code nodes, Run executes the selected node. Run Downstream follows the supported downstream code-node chain. These are different operations.
Preserve credentials in the product’s supported credential controls. Do not paste secrets into help examples or shared task descriptions.
Do not infer scheduling, webhooks, or automatic retries merely from the presence of a visual link. Those require their own configured and verified runtime behavior.
