Use Board and task filters

Review work by status and narrow the tasks you see.

Open a project’s Board view to see tasks in status columns. Move a card to another column when you have permission to update that task. The board is another view of existing tasks, not a separate backlog that requires duplicate task creation.

Use All Tasks when you need a table for filtering, sorting, grouping, or inline updates. Select the people, statuses, or other filters available in the view to focus your review.

When counts differ

  • Check whether the Board is limited to selected canvases.
  • Clear active filters and compare against project All Tasks.
  • Check whether canceled work is hidden.
  • Remember that incoming pinned tasks can appear alongside the project’s own tasks.

If a card snaps back or an update fails, open the task and check its home project’s permissions and assignment policy. Do not create a replacement task to work around an access restriction.
